Design Architect / Space Planner Executive (Retail)

In support with our growing business needs, we are seeking enthusiastic and highly motivated team player to join us as:

Design Architect / Space Planner Executive (Retail) - $3,000 to $3,500

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to be part of our Retail Planning team in Asia!! With 9 new exciting stores projected over the next 18 months, we are looking to expand our team to meet the new challenges ahead!

As we foster an entrepreneurial spirit, the ideal individual will need to be focused, results-orientated, driven, and perform well under pressure. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Retail Planning in Australia.


  • Confer with Department Managers to determine factors affecting planning, merchandising and the interior environment; inclusive of budget, architectural changes and space management 
  • Work in collaboration with external consultants and other internal departments to resolve issues and achieve job completion
  • Attend to site and technical meetings with nominated design teams
  • Monitor on-site installation process and progress; assisting in providing progress review
  • Undertake multiple project sites coordination
  • Complete a defects list and identify issues concerning the fit out
  • Prepare merchandise strategies with the respective General Managers and review bubble plans, category zones and product adjacencies
  • Obtain and assemble data to complete construction drawings and visiting sites to compile measurements where necessary


  • Minimum 3 years working experience in planning and developing retail stores
  • Previous working experience with consultants is an added advantage
  • Proficient in Auto CAD 2D / 3D, shop drawing, Adobe Photoshop (+ sketch up)
  • Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Powerpoint / Word / Excel (Added advantage with Microsoft Access knowledge)
  • Ability to prepare documents and construction packs for tender exercises
  • Ability to project manage / undertake multiple projects
  • A good team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently in a dynamic environment
  • Willing to travel around Asia and Europe
