The requirements are Android 6+, Google Play Services and Google Mobile Services, and No Android Go. Huawei P30 meets all of these criterion but since it is made by Huawei, the Galaxy Wearable app will not allow connection: # com/samsung/android/app/twatchmanager/util/HostManagerUtils private static final ArrayList<String> NOT_SUPPRTABLE_VENDOR_FOR_ANDROID_WATCH = new ArrayList<>(Arrays.asList(new String[]{"HUAWEI"})); It cannot be set up without a phone, and it cannot be paired with my phone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great watch! Really good, can easily receive and make calls. Can read incoming messages and emails and reply using surprisingly accurate voice-to-text. Waterproof so don't need to take it off to shower. Finally a useful smart watch, will be better when Google Assistant app comes

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Watch [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good watch overall with plenty of handy features. The only thing I didn't like was the short battery life and having to take it off to charge every night. This of course means you can't use the sleep features which is a really helpful feature. You have to strategically charge it at a time when you're not going to be using it, which in my case, is a relatively small and busy window somewhere between after work and bed time. Unfortunately the daily charging made it more hassle than it was worth for me and I ended up gifting it to my wife. Nice watch, just not for me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok, but feels like a down grade I got this watch to replace my Samsung Galaxy Active watch. The watch works ok, but it feels like a bit of a downgrade. I bought the galaxy active watch because it fit nicely on my small wrist and wasn't too bulky. The watch 4 strap is really chunky in comparison (hard edges vs rounded) and irritates my wrist more easily, and the curved parts of the strap by the watch face are not designed to rotate well when putting it on your wrist- I have to push the straps to 90 degrees to be able to put it on. It's lost the shiny silver look and the dull sliver that the face sits in is also bulky and less attractive. The watch does everything I want it to, but I can't find decent watch faces this time around that display basic steps and time well at a good size. I also can't use the measure feature because I'm pregnant, and do wonder what it does to you if it's not safe to use in pregnancy. The screen is a little bigger. Overall it's fine, but I miss my old watch. I expected an upgrade and got a downgrade. It feels like more of a small men's watch than a women's watch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Watch I got the watch as a freebie with my new S22+ phone and love it, ive never had a smart watch before, very cool being able to track steps, heart rate, sleep, menstral cycle etc all on your watch. Im loving using it while biking, can control my music and see if anybody is trying to get a hold of me while tracking where im going/speed etc. Also love the feature of being able to have photos as screensavers
