Description
AudioQuest VDM-X coaxial RF cable features a solid 24-gauge copper center conductor with silver plating to improve high frequency performance. Foil wrap around the insulation and an additional layer of silver-plated braid shield the cable from external electronic interference that can degrade the signal.Use this cable for digital satellite (DBS), antenna, and cable TV signals.
Key Features
VDM-XF Series
AudioQuest/CinemaQuest VDM-XF Series cables are designed to minimize distortion across an extremely wide bandwidth. The 75Ω cable acts like a conduit which has to carry relatively low frequency analog video (Composite, up to 4.2MHz), or super sensitive digital audio (SP/DIF, up to 24.576 MHz), or uncompressed High Definition video (HDTV, up to 750 MHz), or cable TV/broadband (CATV, up to 1 GHz). The VDM-XF series cables are designed to carry all these signals with minimum interference from the cable.
Construction
The VDM-XF uses a 24 AWG, Silver-Plated center conductor insulated with Hard Cell Foam (HCF). Silver-plating greatly improves high frequency performance. Nitrogen Injected HCF reduces distortion caused by the insulating material and helps maintain a stable 75-ohm. The combination foil and Silver-Plated braid shield provides 100% protection coverage and lower distortion. Gold-Plated RF connectors are professionally attached with superior AudioQuest solder.
Connectors
The VDM-XF RF coax cable features a right-angle 75-ohm, F-type male connector on one end and a straight 75-ohm, F-type male connector on other end.
Nylon Jacket
The AudioQuest/CinemaQuest VDM-XF Series cable features a multi-color nylon braided flexible jacket.
