Awesome Watch
I have had my Fenix 7 Solar about 3 weeks now and I am totally enjoying it. It is packed with features that lend to my overall training and monitoring of my body health. Prior With the Fenix 7 there is so much more and it will take me some time to fully use and appreciate. The GPS function is so much better and the wrist HRM is excellent. I also like the Morning Summary when I first wake up. It tells me the quality of my sleep and also my training readiness. Great features. Thank you Garmin for a quality GPS watch packed with great features that will continue to help me advance in my training and fitness levels.

Nice Change from Apple!!
I was recomended a Garmin watch when my Apple Watch screen cracked. I was reluctant at first but decided to give it a try, mostly because the Garmin was the same price as the repair of my screen. I have been wearing it for over a month and it has proven to be amazing. Firstly the battery life blows away my old watch. Instead of charging every night I have only charged it twice, my initial charge and once after over 3 weeks! It took some getting used to for running but all I can say about this is, I'm more than pleased! The screen has many ways to customize but I really like The Glance watch face. It is customizable and works well for what I want to see at a glance.

Garmin inaccuracy
Been using this for a month now.here are my observations:
1. Step counter keeps counting when driving.
2.sleep logs inaccurate-i am a long time user of Amazfit and Amazfit is better at detecting sleep and naps while Fenix 7 log sleeps only. Fenix 7 starts logging sleep within the time frame you set your sleep schedule even when you are still awake.
3. Bluetooth connection to phone keeps disconnecting even when phone is in close proximity.
4.battery lasts 10 days with everything on.i work and move all day. So step counter and heart rate is always active.

Great watch - poor lighting.
Bought it about six weeks ago. Great battery life (always a problem with the Fitbit Charge 5 I had) and the apps are adequate - though not as intuitive as the Fitbit apps. Probably just my getting used to it. The screen is hard to see in the daytime if out doors but workable. It is a substantially sized watch that let me decide to forego using my Seiko Divers watch which I’ve had forever - my third in 50 years. A little more work on the software (I’m sure they are going to have upgrades (?) to make it a smoother experience.

So many features but wave count needs improvement
I love this watch! It tracks so many aspects of my health AND it connects to my phone so I can get meeting reminders, emails, and text messages even while I'm in the water. The wave counter in the Surf mode is not very accurate though. It's littered with false positives and false negatives. I also like how the watch tracks my sleep quality and duration, which is something I struggle with. It's good to see the body battery too so I can better manage how I use my finite energy for the day.

Fairly disappointed
Got tis as a Christmas Gift and have been learning the features and to be honest a bit disappointed. The altimeter will not stay calibrated, the weather app keeps changing locations and surprised that I need to connect to my phone to have the time zone updated when travelling. The GPS location feature does not appear to be working all that well. Planning to keep trying for a few more weeks before I decide to keep it or not. It's ale bigger and bulker than I had expected and prefer.

Great watch for activity tracking
I've had this watch for 3 weeks now, and I love it. It's stylish and it works well. Since I'm in the PNW I don't get a lot of sun this time of year, so it hasn't been solar charging much, but still the battery lasts me about 10 days. I like it's customizable settings for activities. My only complaint is that it's not very intuitive . I've had to watch a few videos to figure it out. Also, I wish it connected to Alltrails! Overall, it's a nice robust smart watch.

Surf Still Doesn’t Work
My instinct solar 1 would count every time I moved as a wave so I’d have 60 or so “waves”. This model doesn’t count anything, I can’t see any reason it randomly registers a wave. I’ll catch 5 fantastic waves and none will show up, but randomly I’ll have 2 “waves” where in reality I was just sitting. Golf feature is great. Strength training feature still doesn’t pick up most of the reps and can only do one exercise, you can’t superset and get both
