Rated 4 out of 5 by from Stays Put! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great starter plate for the littles just learning to feed themselves. When they say it stays put, they're not kidding! Although I read the insert which included a list of surfaces that the plate can be used on it still lifted some of the finish from my dining room table, so use with caution on wood surfaces. Aside from that it's the perfect size and the high sides help to assist with self-feeding. The suction piece unscrews from the bottom for cleaning and in the future I think I'll be using this without the suction piece attached since it still has a bit of a grip without it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Stays stuck... usually [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm grateful that this plate has stayed put when our toddler's wanted to push it off the high chair. It's great that the removable suction works with other OXO suction products like the bowl. I found that you don't always need to attach the suction, it'll sit flat on a surface like a normal plate without it. The whole unit is also really easy to clean; I love that I can throw it in the dishwasher. The plate holds a generous portion size and has a nice lip to prevent spills. I decided to only give the plate 4 stars because my toddler was able to release the suction of the plate after a few minutes of fiddling with it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, but too small for and adult's meals It sticks firmly to smooth surfaces, which is good; but if it is set on a surface containing crumbs of food etc., it will pick these up and no longer stick. But it works again after being washed off. It comes with a circle of plastic film on its bottom, which nicely keeps it from sticking to places where it is stored etc.; but being colorless and transparent, the circle is easily lost; it would be better if it were colored. It was recommended by a doctor for use by my disabled wife (this is her husband filling out the questionnaire in her name), but it is designed for little children, and much too small for an adult's meal. But we are using it for her snacks and desserts.

Our little guy LOVES to eat, but he also loves picking up the plate and playing with it. We've had many a wasted meal getting dropped on the floor from our curious little guy! This fixes that issues. It has a REALLY strong suction, so always stays attached to the surface. We also love the edge, it's really easy for him to "scoop" his food into his hand and put it into his mouth. Now whenever we're at home or out and about, we bring along his plate, and it makes life so much easier!

We noticed that all the other plates would just fall. We searched high and low and we finally went with the oxo auction plate. It’s durable and sticks to his feeding table. Beware, that if the surface is not clean enough it may not stick as well. It’s a bit on the smaller end very useful for snacks. I would say it runs in the more smaller end. It’s well made and I would definitely recommend to anyone who has children.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for my 2 year old [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this plate for my 2 year old. It’s the perfect size for her meals. The walls of the plate are tall enough to help her with utensils, but shallow enough that it’s not like eating out of a bowl. She does great with it. The plate really does stick well to surfaces. It sticks great to granite counters and high chair trays. I also use it on a silicone mat on our dining table, and it had a really good grip on that as well. I’d definitely recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for a toddler [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This plate is great for my toddler: it fits a perfect portion for a 20 month old, and the slightly raised edges means she doesn't accidentally push things off the side of her plate. The suction is strong enough to prevent her from trying to wear the plate on her head, and the suction part screws off so you can get the whole thing really clean (important with messy toddlers). It's probably a little small for my 4 year old's meals, but it's perfect for the baby.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Suction plate - best idea ever [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Whoever thought about needing to suction down a plate for a little one to eat was pretty much a genius. This plate sticks nicely to a flat surface without much hassle and keeps it in place which definitely helps make meal-time less messy. I gave this to a girlfriend with a toddler and they are loving it. She said it's easy to clean and it's a great size too, not too small but not too big. It's easy to remove as well. What a great idea and well executed!
