Overall a pretty good speaker
I bought this speaker a year or two ago and it has held up well. The long battery life is a major plus too. I find the app useful, especially the feature that allows me to turn my speaker on and off wirelessly, I do however wish the app accommodated Spotify. With all the great reviews and the price I was a little disappointed to find that the speaker is not as loud as I expected it to be, however every other feature advertised met my expectations. Overall I would say buy one, the sound quality is super clear, it’s quick to charge, has a long battery life, and a useful app, but don’t expect to hear the speaker from all ends and angles of your house if it’s on full volume.

I've had Used for over 7 years, a boom, boom 2 and now my current MEGABOOM 3
I'd never go another way for a Bluetooth speaker if you like to take your tunes with you wherever you go.
My MEGABOOM has been my main speaker since my hifi system kicked the bucket a year ago and when paired up with your mates speakers these things absolutely rip for a bushdoof or party.
Used it as my car radio/speaker for 2 years and always had the battery to last big journeys.
Tough as a rock, slipped down a waterfall, fell off my roof onto concrete and left outside in the rain she takes a flogging and keeps on giving

I've never heard bass this punchy and highs this crisp from a portable speaker. What's even cooler is that I can take this bad boy anywhere – it's waterproof and rugged, so no need to baby it. And that magic button on top? Perfect for on-the-fly music control. Plus, the battery seems to last forever. Whether I'm chilling at home or out adventuring, the MEGABOOM 3 is my new favorite sidekick for blasting tunes with insane quality.

Absolutely star struck
I love the appearance, waterproofing and the overall sound quality of the speaker. However the best thing about it is that I can control the speaker with an app on my phone. This makes it fabulous for evening rituals like meditation, podcasts, audiobooks and such because I don't have to move away from the bed to turn it off when I am done. Perfect for a couch potato!

I’ve had this for around a year and a half now and it’s still in brand new condition, the sound along with the hardware hasn’t deteriorated at all.
The tone of the speaker can be altered but it straight out the box sound is surprising, although the bass sometimes doesn’t pull through on heavy songs compared with competitors the speaker sounds great for everyday use and amazing to the non trained ear.
I just wish that in the next generation it comes with USB-C and bigger drivers.
Apart from that this speaker fit all my needs
