Smaller than expected
We love the little Dino book bags. We already had the little kid one, so when the big kid one came out we were excited to upgrade. However it's really not any bigger than the little kid one. Very disappointed on the size.

Good.. BUT..
Just received mine today. And was super happy for my son to use this backpack for 1st grade. I really thought they were a little big. But they’re not. It fits a 1/2 inch binder, a pocket folder, and a notebook. And a pencil box. If you add more stuff it will be to tight. I mean is good in size. Compared to the smaller ones they have.

Cute but tiny
Very cute backpack but just slightly bigger than the little kid one. Also the front pocket is smaller than the ones on the little kid backpacks. Not worth the extra money in my opinion.

Love Love Love!
We were looking for a backpack for our preschool daughter that was not too big and bulky... it really just needs to hold a folder and small odds and ends sometimes... occasionally a change of clothes, too. It is perfect! She is able to carry it very easily and it is adorable. Highly reccommend... but would not suggest beyone preschool or kindegarten... at whatever age larger items or binders and things would need to be carried in it.

Much smaller than expected
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This SkipHop backpack is high quality and very durable - no surprise at all, as we've used the smaller version of this dinosaur and the butterfly through the preschool years. However, the bag is too small even for a standard portfolio folder, which my kids bring home from school everyday. The small lunchbox fits inside OK, but the height of this bag is really insufficient for an elementary school student, even in kindergarten.

Cute but too small
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this puppy backpack in the largest sized "big kid backpack." We already own a "little backpack" in the fox. I realize the dimensions are listed in the description, but honestly I'm disappointed in the size. There isn't much difference between the size of the "little" vs. "big." A full-size folder can fit into the backpack---however this required major fine-motor skills (for an adult) to get the top corners tucked in carefully for the zipper to maneuver around the folder. I anticipate my 4-year old struggling with this. I also think the placement of the zipper on the "little" vs the "big" backpacks to be harder to maneuver on the "big" backpack. We're keeping the backpack because it is ADORABLE, but the design and size need some improving.

Not the folder size please!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave it three star because of its perfect making but please it’s not the folder size for even kindergartener. Kindly make it a little bigger. I really liked it but not full filling my kids school folder requirement.

Great backpack
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this backpack for my 6 year old daughter. There were so many cute varieties too choose from but she wanted the unicorn one. The backpack is light on its own has a side pocket that fits her matching metal water bottle and the interior of her backpack fits all her supplies. She carries around notebooks a folder a pencil case and other things and everything fits perfectly. The quality is good and the price is great compared to backpacks nowadays which are at least 23,45.
