1. What is a BOP Button and how does it work?

The BOP Button is an emergency alert button. When it is pressed, it triggers an alarm or distress signal that is transmitted to our BOP Response Centre. Our BOP Response Centre is staffed with trained individuals who will contact you immediately through the BOP Button and contact emergency services or dispatch assistance if needed. This service is only available in Singapore.

2. When should the BOP Button be used?

The BOP Button can be used for medical emergencies or personal safety concerns.

3. What if I accidentally press the BOP Button?

If you accidentally activate the button, you can press the cancel button at the side. Alternatively, if you failed to press the cancel button, remain calm, and wait for a response from the BOP Response Centre. They will attempt to contact you to confirm your situation. Respond to their inquiries to avoid unnecessary dispatching of emergency services.

4. What Languages does the BOP Button support?

The automated voice in the BOP Button supports English, Mandarin, Malay, Tamil, Cantonese, Hokkien, and Teo Chew.

5. Can I bring the BOP Button out with me?

The BOP Button is designed to be installed on the wall at your home. There is no GPS tracker installed in the BOP Button. In case of an emergency, the emergency services will be sent to your home.
