Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job very well [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dryer does a very good job of drying the clothes in accordance with the chosen dryness settings and I like the fact that there are three heat settings, in addition to airing with cold air. The unit does not appear to be as quiet overall than my previous F & P dryer because it sounds noisier tumbling in one direction than the other. Also, the control panel does not seem as robust as the previous unit. It cost me the same price as I paid for the previous unit back in 2006. This tells me that a lot of cost has been designed out, in addition to no longer being built in New Zealand. However, at the moment I am very happy with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A good unit, especially for the price. Ordered online, it had to come from another region but arrived promptly. Used the dryer a number of times since we installed it, and so far do good. Unusual place for the air outlet to the wall, being at the bottom rear, rather than the top rear. Would recommend this dryer for sure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New Dryer [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently replaced my manual timer F&P dryer that I bought in the early 90s with this new sensor dryer. Very pleased with it! Even came with the kit to hang it upside down on the wall. Shuts down when the laundry is at the dryness you selected. Definitely worth the price to upgrade.

You sit, squat, in my laundry, unassuming, un judging. You did not flinch when my 8 year old announced before school he had no underwear... you just, accepted the load, and, dried. You do not judge me when, harried by the world and circumstance, I do not visit you for a week or two, then in a flurry, I use you again, and again, and again. Do you complain? Not once. When the seasons turn, and winter enshrouds us, wet, and cold, banishing the sun and all her drying power, for weeks and months. Do you finch from duty? No. You are steadfast. In a transient world not much is dependable, but you, oh Vented Dryer, 5kg, you stand firm. I could go on of your clean lines, and quiet machinations. How you trap your lint well and are easy, so easy to clean, but I will cease my ode to you here, my Prince of Appliances, my King of warm and blowing air. I salute you.
