New HP202a cartridge
I bought a new cartridge for my HP laserMFP281fw printer. When I installed the cartridge it did not work. There was no ink being discharged. I was printing reports for my school and there was no black ink. I put back the old cartridge that still had a small amount of ink and printed a test page. It worked. I have to print reports for my school and the defective cartridge was a disappointment.

Couldn't have been easier to install
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this original HP Toner for my HP LaserJet Printer. I have experienced messy results with toner drums at the office, but this toner cartridge couldn't have been easier to install. The instructions were clear and concise. There was no mess and it only took seconds to install. I also liked the return shipping address to send the old cartridge back to HP for recycling. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

I needed to replace my black ink (for the first time) shortly after being self-quarantined & needed it quickly as I was now working from home. I was concerned it would take a very long time to arrive since everyone was buying everything online & deliveries were taking several days to several weeks to arrive. Much to my surprise, it arrived very fast & the cartridge was SO easy to replace. I love my printer and have never had a problem in the 8 months I've had it.

New Cartridge not recognized.
I own a HP Color Laser Jet Pro MFP M281FDW
I thought if I bought the HP original replacement toner cartridge for my unit
it would be a plug and play purchase, NOPE!! not only does my printer not
recognize the new cartridge. I updated the firmware and software, tried unplugging for 30 min
to clear the memory and cleaned the contacts still does not recognize new cartridge.

Overpriced, DRM
Would give zero stars if I could. Imagine buying a car, happily driving it for three years, then Car Brand pushes a "security update" making it so you can only put Car Brand gas in your car. But that's stupid, you say, gas is the same! And you'd be right. And Car Brand would be wrong, bad, and dishonest. And that's what HP has done here.

NOT A GENUINE HP CARTRIDGE - HAD TO RETURN!!
I bought the cartridge from HP because I have always used their printers and needed to have a cartridge in the a couple of days because ours was running low. The cartridge was supposed to be delivered next business day and it took 4 business days to receive. Once I opened the black ink cartridge and placed in the printer, it did not recognize as a Genuine HP Ink Cartridge. The cartridge did not work and did not seem to have any ink in it. Each time I tried to print or make a copy it would just blur the page and the cartridge did not perform as it should. There were dots and smears all over the page.
Just to make sure that the printer was working correctly, I installed a new magenta cartridge that I had in the office that I purchased at the local Staples Store and my printer recognized as it a Genuine HP Cartridge and worked fine.
This cartridge was not a good purchase and I will not purchase from the HP site again. I would give ZERO stars if the option was available.

quality ink
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought knock off ink a few months back and it prints horribly. I needed to make professional prints recently and purchased this black and the HP color ink and feel much better about the quality of what I'm printing.
