Better for older kids. Not so much for babies.
What makes this bath toy different from others that just float around is that you can pull the string and its propellers would propel it in the water. I wish it would propel for longer. It just moves about half a foot in distance at most.
The make of this toy is sturdy and water doesn't get inside. When not in the bath, it's put together with my baby's other toys and he occasionally teethes on the head of this toy. It's also been thrown and banged around a bit and it doesn't look like it's been bashed about at all.
My baby is 9 months old now and he doesn't know how to pull at the string, so it's just like any other toy floating in his bath. Even when I do so, it doesn't hold his attention for very long. I think this is a toy he will enjoy when he's a little older.

Stopped working a few minutes after bath play
I just bought this and tried the string while in the package. It worked sine until I just put it in my child’s bathtub and the string won’t go back in and won’t wind itself

Bathing just got a lot more fun!
I bought this bath toy to get out of the store faster with my toddler. I was impressed that it didnt break when it was being fought over and was tossed hard onto concrete. I was even more impressed that it did exactly what it claimed it could do from the packaging. It is simple to use for toddler hands. I am buying other skip hop bath toys for Christmas because this one is a hit!

Quick to break
The string stopped working after only a few minutes of play. It wouldn’t float upright. Kept leaning sideways. Not at all satisfied.

Meh...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My baby is old enough to start taking baths so I got him this toy. Since he’s under 1 we don’t put a ton of water so when it tried to go, it kept hitting the bottom of the tub. So the next night I wanted to see it go so I put more water in the tub. I was more excited than the baby. Lol. And I pulled the string and it didn’t really go anywhere. Just kinda stayed in its spot. I wouldn’t buy it again or buy it for someone else personally.

A great tub toy
My three year old godson it totally obsessed. It not a struggle to get him into the tub anymore. He loves curious george and the fact that it moves tickles him. The string is a bit hard to pull. Thank goodness it’s sturdy. Definitely his go to toy when mom says bath time

Big disappointment
My twins bought this for their baby sister and it doesn't work good at all! It doesn't work half the time and it barely propels in the water. The string gets stuck almost every time we pull it and it maybe moves 2 inches forward. Big disappointment for sure!

For my son
My son had been wanting this toy for a few months now and I finally gave in. It only lasted one week and the pull string doesn’t wind up or in the toy all the way anymore .
