Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super Cute, baby loves it I bought this for my daughter and she loves it! She is only one and pretends to take photos with this camera saying cheeese! One downfall though is that the lenses do not stay put. They fall out too easily, so if the camera is tipped over slightly, the 'lens' falls out. So maybe an update to how the lens is secured? Could be screwed in kind of like a real camera? Would give it 5 stars if it weren't for this issue.

My oldest loves to take pretend photos and makes us all pose and instantly review our "photo" together. She's discovering uses for the kaleidoscope lens and often sticks it in her pocket to have on hand for investigations. Youngest loves to change the lenses and drag the camera around, often stopping to look through it without a lense in place. Clearly, a big hit at our house. Also a great minimalistic toy to have.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cute, but not well designed We bought two of these for our kids for Christmas, and they were ecstatic to use them - until we discovered that the rubber grommet intended to hold the lenses in place doesn’t do its job. The lenses constantly fall out, which is incredibly disappointing. Great idea, cute design, just doesn’t work.

It’s really cute but also sturdy and will last through lots and lots of playtimes (actually it’s heirloom quality and will last through lots and lots of kids). It’s a retro or throwback type toy, well made and simple in design and reminds us of days before cell phones! My grandson loves changing the lenses. A great toy! Also this toy came really fast. Manhattan Toy Company has great service!

The interchangeable lenses are really fun, especially the kaleidoscope. There's an inner ring to help keep them in the camera, but was easy enough for my one year old to pull them out. She's still figuring out how to play with it, but I look forward to more fun! One thing to mention, the webbing strap could be thicker and with a longer velcro strip. It doesn't stay on the neck very well.

I think she’s a bit young for it, as she’s not too interested in looking through the lenses yet. But she loves to carry it around and giggles like crazy when we put it around her neck. The quality is also amazing, it’s a perfect wooden toy. She loves to just hold it and try to figure out how the shapes work - this is definitely the beginning of imaginative play!

I like that it has a velcro closure on the strap for quick release if needed. The lense pieces do seem to fit a little lose (which I had read before getting the camera) but we haven't had any issues yet! It came packaged nicely and, of course, came with the little sticker sheet :)
