Does Not Tumble Dry
Overall, this is a solid and efficient machine. The sensor dry feature is particularly helpful, significantly reducing drying time when the appliance is loaded correctly. It's also energy-efficient, which makes running multiple cycles less of a concern.
That said, I do wish it it has reverse tumble drying. I overlooked that detail when purchasing and should have read the reviews more thoroughly. Large items like bed sheets tend to bunch up very tightly during the cycle, requiring frequent checks and manual adjustments.
Despite this minor inconvenience, the machine performs well and is a good choice for those seeking energy savings and effective drying when loads are properly sorted.

Mums little helper!
Bought this dryer last week, have never owned a dryer before and wanted to splurge on a heat pump dryer with great energy efficiency. I am in love with this machine. As a busy mum it has cut my laundry time in half. I dry everything! Even clothes that say do not tumble dry I use the delicate cycle and have no problems. The benefit of ZERO condensation is great! And it looks fantastic. I know these dryers take longer than normal dryers but they take such better care of your clothes. The automatic cycles sometimes don’t dry completely but I just finish them off with the quick 30 cycle and voila! Did have a problem with sheets balling but if you make sure you separate them before putting them in dryer and use the ‘duvet’ option seems much better. This machine was definitely worth the money and am saving up for matching washing machine as my last LG front loader is over 10 years old and still going strong :)

Agree with others, beware with balling up of loads
I’ve been a longtime user of dryers and never have I had so much trouble with one constantly tying clothes in knots or balling sheets like this one. The concentration of heat to the outside of the ball damages fabric and has ended in torn sheets and ripped seams no matter the cycle type while other items remain damp. Babysitting a dryer wasn’t part of my purchase plan at the original full price (cost being why I’m sticking with this thing). Every time you open the door to rearrange the lump, more time is added. Unimpressed, as I am with the matching washer.

Not good for sheets!!!
If you want to dry sheets, this isn't the machine for you! No matter if you have one or two sheets and they have been spun on the highest setting with your washer, the sheets will still roll into a ball! This is due to the machine only going in one direction, the user guides mentions this too and advises to unroll half way through cycle, unfortunately, you have to do this several times within the first 15 minutes of the cycle!
Otherwise, for anything else such as towels and clothing, it is good. WOULD NOT BUY THIS MACHINE OR ANY OTHER that does not have Clockwise and Anti Clockwise rotations.

Much loved
We bought our heat pump dryer a year ago now and I cannot fault it! It’s perfect. I’ve seen people comment on sheets getting tangled in it but to be perfectly honest sheets are best hung to be dried, and whenever we have needed sheets to be dried quicker, the dryer has done a great job!!!!
I love the fact there’s no lint or condensation all over the laundry room. I love that it is super efficient and our energy bills have stayed the same despite the fact we use the dryer ALL the time now!!!!!
I love that we can stop or start it from our couch (just for fun really).
Anyway. It’s great!

Dont buy to dry sheets or items with drawstrings
This is an exceptional dryer other than one VERY BIG issue with it balling up sheets and destroying draw strings on anything you put in it. A simple firmware update would fix this but LG customer service just respond with "this is how it is designed, 7-10 minutes tumble then a 7 second reverse tumble then repeat". It seems to be a very common complaint and had I known this before purchase, I would not have considered this product. Electrolux and Fisher & Paykel do not have this issue.

no reverse rotation and things don’t dry
This is the absolute worst dryer I have ever purchased, take forever to dry towels, sheets, quilts . I bought this dryer because of the brand being a reputable brand as I have had LG products before and never had a issue and thinking it was going to things easier for me in the laundry, well that is not the case. I actually spend more time in the laundry opening the door and untangling things as they are all knotted up into a ball not drying as it doesn’t have reverse rotation and then it puts more time on timer every time the door is opened Therefore it takes even longer dry the items. Im sorry I bought this dryer. I now have to save for a different dryer

The positioning of the filter is poorly executed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would be very happy with our LG dryer IF it didn't ruin so many clothes with drawstrings. The dryer has a two-part filter which is located inside the dryer at the bottom near the door. The drawstrings on our shorts, shirts, pants and whatever else get caught and stuck on the filter and destroyed as the dryer keeps spinning. It has ruined a number of our clothes now which is unacceptable and the dryer will become costly mistake as it will continue to destroy our clothes in its lifetime. The performance of the machine has become irrelevant if it is ruining your clothes.
