The G14’s heatpipe system*, Tri-Fan Technology*, liquid metal thermal compound, and redesigned high-efficiency exhaust vent operate in perfect harmony to offer the ideal balance of thermals and acoustics. Taken together, these systems boast up to an 11.4% increase in airflow rate and keep the machine operating at its peak while staying quieter than ever.

ODB AMBIENT COOLING

Enjoy truly silent cooling under light workloads with OdB Ambient Cooling technology. In the Silent operating mode, the cooling system switches off all fans during lightweight tasks to dissipate heat passively. This lets you concentrate on your work and immerse yourself in movies with less distraction. If CPU or GPU temperatures increase, the fans automatically switch on again.

HEATSINK

At the heart of every great laptop is a great cooling solution. Despite its ultra-thin chassis, the Zephyrus G14 features a dual exhaust heatsink with 137 copper fins as slim as 0.1mm. This setup maximizes surface area to 48,371mm2, allowing the G14 to efficiently expel waste heat for sustained performance. By placing these heatsinks closer to the chassis, heated air travels more efficiently out of the machine than ever before by reducing recirculation.

HEATPIPES

With 42% surface contact of the motherboard, including on the VRM circuitry, the Zephyrus G14's heatpipe array cools as much of the mainboard as possible before passing it off to the heatsinks. Limited space doesn't need to limit your cooling potential.

DUST FILTER

Dust and fibers can collect inside your laptop, trapping heat and causing degraded performance over time. A filter over the G14's air intakes helps keep dust out, allowing the CPU and GPU to breathe easier for years of smooth and stable operation.

REFINED INTAKE & EXHAUST LAYOUT

The Zephyrus G14 pushes cooling performance to the next level with a re-engineered intake mesh featuring 13,328 precision-cut perforations that increase the ventilation area ratio by 26% while also improving structural rigidity. At the rear, a widened exhaust vent accelerates heat dissipation, keeping thermals in check during intense workloads. A redesigned footpad completes the system-its aerodynamic profile channels air out the back and to a second exhaust under the footpad, reinforcing stability while driving maximum cooling efficiency.

The airflow path inside the Zephyrus G14 has been tweaked to encourage more active airflow inside the machine and keep critical components cool, allowing it to reach a high TGP in an incredibly thin-and-light chassis.

A bold streak of LEDs across the lid of the machine with a mirror glass finish, upgraded in 2026 from 7 to 35 distinct zones, Slash Lighting is a visual representation of the elegance and individuality that make Zephyrus so unique. It comes with 15 pre-loaded animations, including a Battery Status mode and a Charging mode, letting you see what your laptop is up to from across the room. Built from aluminum alloy, the chassis of the Zephyrus G14 is painstakingly CNC-machined to minimize excess volume while maintaining rigidity. Using precision tools just 0.7mm in diameter, channels for the keyboard, touchpad, and speakers are milled to ultra-tight tolerances for a premium and robust chassis with components that stretch edge to edge. After an eight-step process, the sandblasted, polished, and anodized G14 chassis stands ready to support its flagship hardware.
