ODB AMBIENT COOLING
Enjoy truly silent cooling under light workloads with OdB Ambient Cooling technology. In the Silent operating mode, the cooling system switches off all fans during everyday tasks to dissipate heat passively. This lets you concentrate on your work and immerse yourself in movies with less distraction. If CPU or GPU temperatures increase, the fans automatically switch on again.
HEATSINK
At the heart of every great laptop is a great cooling solution. Despite its ultra-thin chassis, the Zephyrus G16 features a dual-exhaust heatsink that helps to efficiently pass heat outside the machine for sustained performance. By placing these heatsinks closer to the chassis, heated air travels more efficiently out of the machine than ever before, reducing recirculation.
VAPOR CHAMBER
Traditional laptops utilise a system of heatpipes to draw heat from the processor towards the heatsinks. But sometimes, a vapour chamber is more efficient. With much more surface contact, including on the VRM circuitry, the Zephyrus G16's vapour chamber cools as much of the mainboard as possible before passing it off to the heatsinks. Limited space doesn't need to limit your cooling potential.
DUST FILTER
Dust and fibres can collect inside your laptop, trapping heat and causing degraded performance over time. A filter over the G16's air intakes helps keep dust out, allowing the CPU and GPU to breathe easier for years of smooth and stable operation.
REFINED INTAKE & EXHAUST LAYOUT
The Zephyrus G16 pushes cooling performance to the next level with a re-engineered intake mesh featuring 16,724 precision-cut perforations that increase the ventilation area ratio by 50% while also improving structural rigidity. At the rear, a widened exhaust vent accelerates heat dissipation, keeping thermals in check during intense workloads. A redesigned footpad completes the system's aerodynamic profile, channels air out the back and to a second exhaust under the footpad, reinforcing stability while driving maximum cooling efficiency.

The airflow path inside the Zephyrus G16 has been tweaked to encourage more active airflow inside the machine and keep critical components cool, allowing it to reach a high TGP in an incredibly thin-and-light chassis.
