Totally different from mini!
Received the mini as a GWP. Loved it,finally found "the" mascara. So when that ran out I immediately purchased the full size,wincing at the cost but thought no,I love it and will get my money worth.
Nuh uh.As soon as I saw the brush,I was confused-this IS the same mascara,right?Yes,exactly.The mini brush is thicker.Full size is skinny with stubby bristles.
The formula seems different,too.It smudges and clumps. I am pretty sure that they almost seem like they're two different products altogether. Reading thru reviews*sadly,after making the purchase :(* my opinion is almost identical to other consumers.
Gonna have to just buy the mini...

Underwhelmed by this Mascara
I love when I get the opportunity to try a more expensive brand before shelling out the money for it. In this case I received a MAC In Extreme Dimension 3D Black Lash as a sample with purchase from Adore Beauty and I am disappointed. Not as disappointed as I would have been if I had purchased a full size product though.
It's a normal traditional shaped brush, the bristles were a bit plasticky. I felt the formula was a bit dry and didn't coat my lashes properly. There was no added volume, no curl and no added length. In short, the oomph was definitely missing.
On the plus side, there was no flaking or smudging. Not planning on purchasing at all.

Perfect for a Natural Everyday Look
This is the first MAC cosmetics mascara that I've ever tried.
The MAC In Extreme Dimension 3D Black Lash mascara is a really good mascara that adds a bit of glam to an everyday natural look. The deep black colour adds intensity and looks great with a smoky eye look and winged liner. You can also build it up and add more coats to give you more volume if you are after more of a dramatic look.
This mascara added great definition and length to my lashes without clumping.
It stayed on all day without flaking or causing any irritation to my eyes when removing.
I love that it didn't smudge or leave me with panda eyes at all. I'm really impressed with this mascara.

LOVE IT!
The Extreme Dimension 3D Black Lash is one of the first mascaras I bought from MAC. My first impression of this mascara was "WOW", it made my lashes more voluminous and longer straight away. The mascara also made my lashes extremely black which made them very noticeable from far away. I have quite light lashes, so it was great with only one coat they became so much more thicker and darker.
The product is easy to apply and the packaging is very sleek and easy to grip. The mascara did seem to smudge either during the day and was relatively easy to remove with my normal make-up remover. Whilst $42 may seem pricey for a mascara, but this product is definitely worth it!

Love this false lash effect mascara!
Surprisingly, I have read some of the reviews of this product and am quite stunned by them as this is the best and my absolute favourite mascara that I've ever purchased.
The formula is rich, thick and non flaky.
It coats my lashes well with the first application, however since I like my lashes to look long and with lots of volume, I usually apply 3 coats, making sure I apply it to the tips to give them length. Honestly, my lashes look amazing and I get alot of compliments on them often. It doesn't smudge or flake and stays looking freshly applied all day.

Did not provide the volume that I had hoped for
My review is for the full size In Extreme Dimension 3D Black Lash mascara. I have read a few reviews where people said that the mini size version performed better than the larger size.
The mascara’s formula was not too dry or too wet. I appreciated that the wand was not too bulky and that I was able to coat my lashes easily. I have read some reviews where people said that the mascara flaked or smudged, but this was not my experience.
I prefer mascaras that provide lots of volume because I have small and hooded eyes. The In Extreme Dimension 3D Black Lash provided good definition but I didn’t see much in the volume or length department.
I did not think that this was a bad mascara, but I had expected more considering the brand’s reputation.

Full coverage glam lashes
EXTREME DIMENSION 3D BLACK LASH from MAC has a large brush that is easy to use and coats a lot of lashes with just one sweep. The colour is a deep black and the effect of glamourous long curled dark lashes lasts for at least ten hours,
I love that it doesn't create clumped lashes and there is no flaking of dried pigment during the day
I find it to add the appearance of length, thickness, pigment and curl to my lashes and it is definitely a goto mascara. Even after I have cleaned off the mascara my lashes look and feel conditioned.

Not so extreme
This is an underwhelming mascara for me.
My tiny straight lashes need massive volume so this is definitely not for me.
It provides clean definition but nothing more. No lengthening or volume. Nothing extreme about it.
The brush is long and very bristly.
It works well at coating th lashes with no clumps.
I find the forumla is very very dry and there doesn't seem to be much product on the brush. I had to brush it multiple times and keep re-dipping into the tube to get more product.
The upside is it doesn't fade, smudge or flake.
