Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not at all what I expected. After years of purchasing Voluspa candles as gifts for family and friends, I discovered the prosecco bellini and fell in love! Since working from home during COVID-19, I wanted a more subtle scent to burn in my new home office. I love lavender and thought it would be calming, so I ordered the french cade. Maybe my expectations were too high. I barely smell a hint of lavender, but dominant citrus notes that unfortunately smell more like kitchen or cleaning detergent. I really wanted to love these, but I've decided to return them for something I know I love. Love this brand, but this scent is not for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great candle! The French Cade and Lavender candle is the best smelling out of the entire Voluspa collection. Of course I wish the candles weren’t as expensive as they are so I could buy more often, but they are worth the money because of how good they smell. They also make the whole room smell good rather than other candle brands that don’t seem to do much. The blend is perfect for people who love lavender and for those who aren’t typically lavender fans.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from My mom likes this I love these Voluspa mini tins! Great way to try out scents. Although this scent is not one I enjoy, my mom really likes it. I prefer a more traditional lavender fragrance. The addition of the other notes in this one give it an unusual scent, maybe more of an herbal twist...? It's nice, it's just not for me. Burned in a 10' x 10' room and found it to be a sufficient size.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Strong Cologne Like Scent The scent is very strong, which isn't a plus for me or my pets. We can't burn it too long for fear of their sensitive noses (or giving me a headache). I also couldn't really smell the lavender over the French cade wood scent. It more so reminded me of cologne, which I know other people do enjoy. It just wasn't for me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not much scent given off, Not much scent given off, burned in my bath room, 12X14 maybe, even husband remarked the candle he got me from store gave off more scent... will be interested in burning larger candle in same space to see if that issue gets resolved! Love the tins, been cleaning out and reusing for various uses... they are really lovely.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from NOTHING - NO NICE SMELL AT ALL Received a mini tin as part of a promotion. Nothing - nada - burned the candle in my bathroom and smelled nothing. I am so disappointed in Voluspa. My first experience was with Crane - this scented my whole apartment and EVERYONE complimented me on it. It raised my spirts on less than satisfying days.

I’m glad I only purchased the miniature version. That said, your customer service is excellent. The Pomegranate Blood Orange candle arrived melted and was replaced immediately.
