About the Stone/ Marble:
The Filled/Polished Travertine is the most popular Italian travertine. It shows a light beige background color. Its texture typically presents swirled veins coming in shades of brown and grey. It shows, frequently, small dark areas due to natural iron inclusions. The stripes /veins can extend from end to end of the table or blend throughout, giving the appearance of ocean waves. In its natural form, it has “holes”, “pores”, and “fissures” that are filled and sealed with colored fillers and/or small pieces of the same material before polishing. Consequently, the surface is not regular due to the presence of residual micro-holes/pores that determine the natural characteristic of the travertine itself.

Perfection!
Love, love, love this mascara. Over the years I wouldn’t like to think how many mascara I’ve tried. Most being abandoned after a couple of uses. I almost never write reviews but this is one item that I genuinely recommend. I wear contact lenses, work at a screen and unconsciously rub my eyes many mascaras resulting in me looking like a panda and or irritation of my eyes. I also often don’t have time so a quick flick in the morning and I look awake and if needed another application later can give me the fuller lashes needed. It’s got staying power and is just the best I’ve tried. It will also be in my makeup bag/handbag. 5*+ in my book!

Love it!
After YSL discontinued brown in Faux Cils, I have had a horrible time finding a great mascara. It is difficult when you don't want the ubiquitous black, black, and more black. Along came Guerlain to the rescue! I love this mascara. It separates, thickens, lengthens and curls my eyelashes, making them lush and full without making them fake looking. I love this product. The only thing I would like is if it were a bit more tear-resistant. Other than that, thank you Guerlain for having the common sense to realize that not everyone wants or looks good in black, and thank you for making brown mascara in a great formulation!

Great Mascara
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this mascara, it goes on really easy and a light brush of it covers my lashes and gives them a longer, more defined natural look. It dries instantly and lasts all day with no residue or smudging. The brush separates each hair of the lash with no clogging, creating the natural look that I'm looking for. I got water splashed in my face the other day and was very pleased to find that the mascara stayed put and waterproof so great for general confidence. I would highly recommend this product and it will definitely be on my list of beauty products to buy.

Good, but please revert it to the original!
I first tried it when it was released in 2015 in a magical Marine shade, and have repeatedly bought it over a few years. I tried it also in a relaunched version Mad eyes (Mad blue) and got slightly dissapointed. The shade is not that unique, deep and intriguing as it used to be when it was Cils d' Enfer Mascara, the initial brush was ideal, I did't like the new one, not very handy. Please bring back the original product, that was amazing. I believe the same is true for the brown shade.

Exceptional Mascara
I've been using this mascara for the last few years
I must say that it is exceptional. Goes on smoothly,stays put all day-no flaking off yet is easy to remove with a good creamy face wash or the eye makeup remover of your choice. I feel like the last time I bought a tube at a major makeup retail site it had been opened and was a bit dried out. So I decided to go to the company website and couldn't be more pleased with this high quality madcara

Not the same quality as the rest of Guerlain
I have been absolutely loving Guerlain makeup products, so when my mascara ran out I definitely wanted to try this one out. The first thing I noticed was how hard it was to keep my eyelashes from sticking to each other. It’s definitely goes on clumpy no matter how good your mascara technique is. I don’t notice any special volume or length to my lashes, so needless to say I would not purchase this again and go back to my other mascara.

Great for every day wear
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like how simple this mascara makes the eyes look. It doesn’t clump, but also doesn’t really lengthen or volumise as much as I would prefer. I think it’s great for every day wear but I wouldn’t want to pay as much for something that doesn’t do what I prefer which is adding length or volume. I would say it mainly just highlights the lashes and it’s quite subtle rather than “mad” really.

Wish I found this sooner
Self proclaimed mascara snob here. Thought i would use Diorshow forever as nothing has ever compared. But wow this product is amazing in so many ways. The brush is lovely and makes for coated, separated lashes. Lengthens AND curls and the curl actually stays all day. I wait about 2 minutes for a second coat and there is no clumping and major thickening. Also, no breaking down, flaking, or under eye 'shadow' after all day wear! In love
