Rated 2 out of 5 by from I used to love Hubby's the original Acqua di gio, So I was quite excited when I spotted this one and immediately decided to buy a gift for him (so I can steal from time to time ;)  The beautiful packing and amber color liquid gave me really high hopes - but alas the fragrance was a big let down. It has hardly any similarity with the beautiful fragrance of original but smells quite generic and cheap. There are some fruity notes in there but not quite appealing. It makes me think of those generic perfumes that teenagers like to use and can you a headache if you're sensitive to harsh fragrances.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I purchased this fragrance for my son recently for his birthday and he loves it. It’s quite fresh, woody and you can distinguish the marine notes. He has the original aqua di gio which he also loves, this is a totally different scent but still very appealing. The addition of patchouli makes it slightly exotic, it’s a really manly fragrance. It’s oackaged really sophisticated and quite luxe so makes a nice gift. I feel this is worth the money and would recommend it
