Bad product
I have been using various Command products for many years - and have been generally quite happy about them. However, this product (or maybe the box I purchased) is very defective. Two defects:
(1) Out of 6 hooks in the box, 3 broke after using for 6 months.
(2) I bought a replacement set, but this time I went for the Designer Hooks (17081-8ES), as they seemed sturdier. However, while removing the old Utility hooks, the strip tore for two of them. Now there is nothing to pull. If I try to remove the old mounting bases forcefully, they will take away the paint from the wall (it did so when I tried in one).
This is very disappointing quality from 3M.

Value Packs are the better way to go.
Once I attached the two hooks that I originally needed, I found that another hook would be useful to take up the slack of a fan cord. I then realized that there were a few odds'n'ends that these extra hooks could be of use...keeping things off the floor so my ferret wouldn't stash objects away.
Just remember to use the higher weight limit strips/hooks for the hooks that are used frequently...otherwise the strip might tear part of the paint off your wall. Yes they are strong.
Particle board binding is not so good. Too bad...maybe 3M can work on that one.
I am happy to say that I haven't been disappointed in any of the products.

Backpack Organization
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was tired of trying to find a place to put my children's backpacks, so I bought the General Purpose Utility Hooks. I am currently renting a home and don't want to put any holes in the walls and these were the perfect solution. I bought 2 hooks that would hold up to 3 lbs and 1 hook that would hold up to 5 lbs. They solved my organization problem perfectly. I no longer trip over backpacks on the ground or knock them off the back of our dining room chairs. We have also used them to hang wet snow clothes and jackets. When we move, we won't leave any holes in the walls and, best of all, I can take them with me!

Damage-Free Hanging Medium Value Pack
For the strongest holds for the majority of hanging items, command damage-free hanging hooks are just "it". I am constantly amazed at what I can jazz up on any wall in my home or office with the varying selections of command hanging products. The best part, no fuss, no mess removing the hooks from the walls. I haven't purchased nails in YEARS to hang anything. The cost value to purchase any pack of command hanging products, in any amount needed fits the budget. When a hanging project is in demand, command it, with damage-free hanging hooks.

Great concept, terrible performance
Initially I was a great fan of Command Hooks but that enthusiasm has been tempered by deteriorating performance. In the latest example I carefully cleaned the side of a wooden cabinet with rubbing alcohol, applied the medium-duty hook per the package instructions and dutifully waited over an hour. After waiting for the adhesive to cure I gently hung a thin cutting board on the hook. In less than 5 seconds the hook and the cutting board were on the floor. The adhesive strip completely gave way and lost contact with the cabinet. I am amazed at how poorly this product performed and would not have believed it if it had not happened right in front of me. Two stars to recognize that Command Hooks used to be reliable.

ANY COMMAND STRIP YOU WANT TO USE
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Any command strip you want to buy will be well worth your money. I have purchased several different sizes and kinds and I think they are the greatest thing you could ever use. I have just purchased some more and am in the process of hanging more pictures in my home. We also have a 5th wheel camping trailer and have used several to hang things in there. I can't say enough good things about them - any size. The nice thing is you can't see them and they really do the job. I'm sure I will be buying more as time goes on. Anyone DO NOT hesitate to purchase any of them.

Works so well
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been using ours for almost a year now. I use to try to keep a calendar on the side of the refrigerator to try and keep track of our daily life. Magnets kept falling down and were useless. Then I got the idea to use a command hanger. I placed one on the side of the refrigerator and it works so well. No more falling calendars and it is so easy to turn the pages when the next month comes, or when the next year come you just change the calendar. Oh, I forgot to say how nice it looks in place of the many magnets that were not doing the job. Thank you

Holds my Booms!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Long ago, when my kids were small, I had a housekeeper from the Phillipines. She insisted on using a broom that she could only find in Asian markets. It has been over 25 years since she has left us, but I still use those brooms today because they sweep so well. The only problem with them was that they had a hole in the handle and nothing would hold them against the wall. Anyway, I found the Command medium hooks and all at once my problem was solved. Now I use command hooks all over the house for towels, brooms, dusters, etc. What a fantastic product!
