The majority of Smeg gas hobs are supplied with heavy-duty cast iron stands, designed to be resistant to high temperatures. They are very robust and can be easily cleaned with detergent and wire wool to prevent deterioration over time.
Innovative Safety System: In the unlikely event of glass breakage, the hob will not collapse. A layer of steel underneath the tempered glass ensures the hob remains functional and safe to use, allowing users to continue cooking without any risk.
