Rated 1 out of 5 by from A huge disappointment I bought the Joe Malone lime, basil and mandarin home candle for my mother as she is a huge fan of the fragrance of the same name. I ordered it just before Christmas and it arrived dead on time beautifully wrapped. On Christmas Day my mother lit the candle and a burnt it for a few hours. This was the disappointment number one - the candle did not have much fragrance and could hardly be smeljed in the same room. The next point to note was that the wick was not in the centre of the candle. This looks unprofessional. The day after that she tried to light the candle again it was impossible to do so. All in all a huge disappointment and we would have expected more for the price that I paid.

I was thrilled to receive it as I am a long time admirer of Jo Malone products. I have purchased many, many lovely items for myself as well as gifts for others. I have tried burning it several times and it has no scent whatsoever. Given the 2+ years of COVID, is it possible that retailers are selling old inventory that really should be replaced with fresh items? I wish I could return it but don't want to hurt the feelings of my gift giver.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointing Like the previous reveiwer, I find this candle to lack that extra ooomph. I purchased this for my mum on mothers day as she adores Jo Malone candles (especially the Dark Amber and Gingerlilly) We did smell this in the shop and the fragrance is strong, however it is rare for me to smell this once the candle is lit, unless I am to stand or sit right next to it. I fear it may be more use in smaller spaces so the smell becomes more concentrated. It is a great shame because the fragrance itself is beautiful.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from should be better for the cost Gave this as an Xmas gift to my sister and we couldn't smell it even after 3 hours of burn in a very small bathroom. Also, for the price, I would hope they'd bother to pour the candle evenly but it was coming away from the sides even before lighting. On my end there were no heating discrepancies, I bought the candle the day before I gave it to her. I know this brand is known for more subtle scents but a single wick candle for this cost should have some scent to it.

It had been burning approximately 3 hours and I was still waiting for the perfume to fill my small room. A friend called and said she noticed the candle but thought it was a dupe as she couldn't smell it at all. I feel I have totally been ripped off and wil never buy again

I've tried placing the candle in various positions in my living room but there is no smell whatsoever. It was my first jo Malone candle and I've been left feeling so dissatisfied with it.

I am really dissatisfied with with the fact it lets off no scent I have a small apartment and have it on the table in front of me when lit and there is no scent from it all all. I was wanting to purchase more of your products as I love the scent lime basil and mandarin but I worry that I will have wasted my money and i will have the same problem.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Burns away immediately! I have been burning candles daily during wfh, both cheap and expensive varieties. Decided to treat myself to one in the scent of the Jo Malone cologne I wear and also got one other. Both listed as having a 45 hour burn time. Both were completely gone in two uses, maybe 10 hours tops. Really surprised and disappointed. Have not had this experience with any other candle.
