Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Performance I always need a handheld beater when making things and I finally bought a Kitchen Aid one and it is brillant. I love how I now have beaters that are for beating and whisk that will do my cream ever so lightly. What is also great is there is a blender that attaches to the hand mixer so no need of a separate blender now. It is easy in your hand and not heavy at all when having to whip or beat something for a while. There is a very handy accessory bag to put your beaters into. No more trying to find them in my drawer. Perfection. What's not to love re the colour also but for me it is the great performance of this hand mixer. 9 Speeds and they all work a treat.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't like the speed control! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received the 9-speed hand mixer from my daughter as a Christmas gift two years ago. Have a KitchenAid stand mixer that I've used for the last 18 years and love it! But this hand mixer is not nearly as good a product. Don't need a hand mixer often (mashed potatoes and egg whites?) but this past Sunday, while whipping egg whites for a birthday cake, the speed control suddenly stopped working. Tough to get stiff egg whites on SLOW SPEED. Understand others have had the same problem. Hope some kind of product research is being done to correct this problem. Meanwhile, no, I would not recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality Hand Mixer - worth the price [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Treated myself with the 9-speed hand mixer. It is a bit pricy, but totally worth it. First of all, the 9 speeds migh seem too much, but it allows for a precise, almost surgical mixing, exactly the speed one wants and needs. Adding to that, it is SO quiet, One can actually still have a conversation while working. Main reason I bought it was for the different attachments. I especially wanted teh pro wisk, as I do not like to beat egg white and cream with the "regular" beater. The liquid blending and dough hook are nice addition. Also, small thing, but the bag they are coming in has been extremlly helpful to keep thing organzized.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from KitchenAid KHM926WH 9-speed Portable Mixer This mixer is a replacement for a Kitchenaid 9-speed that I purchased 10 years ago. I don’t know if the speed-control button is faulty (as others have experienced) but it has less power than my old model. It bogged down in carrot cake batter from a recipe that was easy for my old mixer. I can only imagine how poorly it will perform in cookie batter. The most annoying feature of this redesign is the unbalanced heel rest—it’s tips over forward when batter is stuck to the beaters and makes a mess on the countertop. I wish I had never purchased it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Always Awesome! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Every product from stand mixers, attachments, and now the 9-speed mixer perform as I expect. Bought this because sometimes i don't need my big stand mixer to whip up eggs, meringues or toppings. My grandmother's stand mixer started it all for us and now i'm passing the KitchenAid tradition down to my children. Recipes always turn out better when they are properly mixed whether creaming butter and sugar in the stand mixer or whipping egg whites with this 9-speed hand mixer. Quality ingredients is only part of the equation, you need quality equipment and KitchenAid has always delivered on that expectation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome mixer [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sadly, my 10 year old hand/stand mixer (not a KitchenAid product) died making goodies for Christmas this past year. My daughters decided to get me a new (better) hand mixer this year for my birthday. They were having trouble on agreeing on which one to buy, so they gave me a gift card so I could pick my own. I finally decided on the KitchenAid 9-speed (which is exactly the one they were leaning toward). I like its low starting speed that can easily be increased once the ingredients are blended. So far it has handled every job I have given it with no bogging down during the process. I think I am in LOVE.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am just loving this Kitchen Aid Hand Mixer, I have made chocolate Chip Cookie Mix and Red Velvet Cup Cakes Mix with it since I got this hand mixer. I like that this hand mixer is light weight and it made mixing the chocolate chip cookie dough so easy, and it made mixing in the chocolate chips into the cookie mix so much easier then doing it by hand. My cookie and cup cakes came out nicely because I didn’t over mix them because this mixer mixed the ingredients together nicely. I also like that it has different mixing tools for different thing, and it comes with a bag to keep everything together.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Depends on use [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll start by saying that this being a KitchenAid product the bar was set high to begin with. I like the mixer, and the build quality is as nice as would be expected. The included storage bag for the multiple attachments is nice to keep everything organized. The disappointment arose in trying to make mashed potatoes. I think this was a combination of the power of the mixer and the round wire design of the attachments as opposed to the normal flat found on other mixers. I am not sure how this will hold up using the included dough hooks.
