Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ring Video Doorbell Wired [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received, Ring Video Doorbell Wired. It took me a bit to get it up and running. The instructions were clear up until it comes to the Doorbell section. I think the instructions could better clarify that the system doesn't work with existing doorbell ringer itself. I ran into a problem with the wires from old door bell and had to find a different 18 volt source. Once I did that the rest was a breeze. It works beautifully and was easy to setup on my phone. I feel safer with the security ring system brings my family. I highly recommend this product to every family for added protection for their home.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Clear image and 2 way audio!! We've had ours for quite some time now and rarely have any issues. I like that there is a 2 way audio on this. The sound is not the greatest but it works fine. We do use the chime with it and our internet connection is top notch but we still have occasional glitches. The video is clear but the night vision is meh. This doorbell serves its purpose and the picture is good enough. You can not see far in the distance if it is dark out so you need light if your wanting to see your yard. The floodlight is a great addition for that. Overall for the price and its purpose we are happy with this. I don't like having a subscription for every device but that's a me problem.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great peace of mind [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this after there had been a couple attempted break-ins in my neighborhood, and the peace of mind of having video surveillance is wonderful. I did have to have someone help me install this since it is the wired version and I didn't trust myself with electrical wiring. I was also a bit surprised to figure out that even though it is wired, it does not use the chime that is wired into my house... it chimes through an Amazon Alexa device or through a separately purchased ring chime. The camera works great, as does the 2-way talk. Very happy with this product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent, but not exceptional! We've had our camera for a few years now. Installation was really simple and we were guided through the whole process. The app is fairly easy to navigate. For the most part, video and audio are good. The video at night time is not though. It does not always catch us walking in or out of the house after dark. The night vision image is quite dark despite our porch light being on and also street lights close by. Quite often, it misses people walking by or it detects a person when there is no one in sight. We do still enjoy the peace of mind with having it, just think there could definitely be some improvements!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good daytime camera [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had a few different ring devices and this one didn't stand of to the others. Installation instructions were very easy to follow making it a quick process. I like that is uses the existing wires from my old doorbell for power so I don't have to worry about charging a battery. The camera works fine during the day. I was however pretty disappointed with the low-light/night-time video. Even with the porch light on, the image is fairly dark. Other than that, it works great and I would not go without having one. I also highly recommend the protection plan which allows you to save recording. This feature is a must have.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Doorbell [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this doorbell, the quality and ability to talk to anyone via the ring is fantastic and such a great thing to have especially since our lives have changed so much with the Pandemic. You can ask someone to leave a package or respond without risking face to face contact when you are not prepared with a mask. At night you can still get quality picture because it has night vision also even is someone doesnt hit the doorbell it will capture motion. I love that this is an inexpensive way for me to add a layer of both convenience and safety to my home.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ring Wired Video Doorbell might just record a red Security? Check. Fun videos? Check. Have you ever had a red fox walk across your front porch? I have, & I can prove it because my Ring Wired Video Doorbell recorded her walking across it one evening. It's such a cool video that I've kept it. I've also recorded people who've come by to sell me products. It's so convenient to respond to them when they ring my doorbell to let them know I'm not interested so they can move on to the next house. I love that I can customize the message people receive when they press the doorbell; my favorite messages are those that are pre-recorded for certain holidays. So fun!
