Beware: Formula has Changed
I've been a grateful and devoted user of this product for two decades. Sadly, Shiseido has recently updated the formula. I don't doubt it will continue to work for some, but for my dry skin (compounded by living in a high altitude location), it no longer works. I'll leave aside the scent (which is more perfumey than the original), the cream itself is no longer good for those with dry skin (and based on the scent, I suspect those prone to allergies--which I am not--will also encounter problems). Based on some recommendations, I've already ordered several other creams to try (from different companies), and I will reluctantly be moving on from Shiseido after 20 years of loyal use.

Best moisturizer ever!!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the cream for the past 2 years. Honestly the Best purchase I've made!!! I have oily acne prone aging skin and almost everything breaks me out or starts pilling when I use my other products with it. But, this cream helped my skin out a lot especially during the winter when I can't go without a moisturizer. Now I use it every evening and it does the job I need it to do without irritating my skin or pilling. I am so happy I was introduced to the Shiseido advanced super revitalizing cream by a friend. Would definitely repurchase ( I already have 2 bottles as backups)!

Reformulation is terrible
I was a loyal customer of Shiseido skincare for almost 30 years. I used the benefiance softening lotion and rich emulsion and I loved it until they got rid of it. At that point I switched to this revitalizing cream and I loved it too. Now they've reformulated it without notice and it's cheap garbage and costs more. Sits on the skin like Vaseline and plastic, skin can't breath and it caused me to get fungal acne which took years to correct and I still have scarring that is permanent. They should have at least warned us about the reformulation! And so now I'm done with Shiseido. I feel they've stopped caring about their customers.

Another Shiseido product bites the dust.....
I have been using this product since they changed(and ruined) the Benefiance day/night lotions. It doesn't feel like a luxury product now, it smells strong and cheap. I've used Shiseido products for 40 years and I'm tired of having to hunt for another product every time something is "updated" or discontinued. It feels more like the products have been tailored to appeal to the masses at frequent sale prices. It's a shame what this one time luxury brand has become. I agree with another review...I'm about done.

The Best Cream!
I have been using Bio performance for over 20 years. I would leave and try other creams, but always came back to this product. I use it at nightly after I wash my face. The product helps with dryness, & in winter I use it in the morning. we all need, and can use, more moisture in the wintertime. I believe Bio Performance is worth the price, and if you can get a free gift with it, that's even better! I love this product!! Begin use with just a little, then add more if your skin drinks it up. I have had no adverse reactions to Bio Performance which is a benefit. People often tell me I have such nice looking skin, and this makes it the BEST!

Disappointment with Recent Product Change-Very strong smell
I have been a loyal user of your product for over 30 years because I always appreciated its lack of fragrance-it was so pleasant and comfortable to use. However, I recently opened a new container from my latest order and was shocked by the strong, unpleasant smell of the cream. The scent was so off-putting that I got a terrible headache and had to wash my face immediately. I'm incredibly disappointed by this change. The new scent has completely turned me off from a product I've trusted and loved for decades. I'm really upset by this experience and wanted to understand why such a significant change was made. Are there any Bio-Performance that have NO smell at all? Just like how it was before? Can Shiseido contact me immediately please? I need a product that have NO SMELL!!!

Please bring back the previous scent/formula
I've been using bioperformance for 4+ years and it dramatically changed my premature aging spots and noticeably made my skin more supple. But the cream's scent and consistency has changed for the worse this year. Others have noted this too but the scent is now VERY perfumey, flowery. It's off putting when you initially put it on. I luckily don't have super sensitive skin but I can imagine people with allergies or sensitivities not working for them. The cream is also less smooth and buttery - there's almost a little bit of a chalky consistency now. This is such a bummer because the cream used to melt into my skin and keep it feeling hydrated all day. I ordered another tub over Black Friday but also ordered other Shisheido lines and from other companies to test them out. I hope they change bioperformance back from all the feedback. The original was the best.

Horrible Smell in the New Formula
Every year I use 3 or 4 jars of these creams. Best facial cream for all seasons. However with the most recent ingredient change, the cream smells horrible, like a bathroom detergent, unpleasantly strong chemical smell. Whoever is in charge for the ingredient swap should resign, this is ruining a legendary product, and swapped with cheap smelling chemicals. So disappointed! Please get back this message to the team and have it fixed!! Please!!
