Rated 5 out of 5 by from Review of Samsung 49 inch Odyssey Neo I use this monitor connected to a MacBook Pro for work, I don't use it for gaming. It's a great screen, although the off-axis colour rendition could be improved. Colours will wash out if you look at it at too sharp an angle. I can only run it at 120Hz with my setup, but there's no flicker and the blacks are good. Not perfect, but good. It's very bright. if I ran it at full intensity it would be quite uncomfortable to look at, especially when displaying white spreadsheets all day. Keep in mind there are no built in speakers with this monitor: you'll need separate speakers or you can use the ones in your laptop/desktop machine.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Issues that should not exist with premium price Pretty disappointed with this product. Straight out of the box the display was defective. Had to spend a couple of hours trouble shooting an obvious defect which by the look of it has been reported multiple times. Not particularly good for a company that bost quality systems that align with ISO9001. When it came to getting the monitor fixed I had to do all the leg work. Hours wasted when really for the price I should not have had to. Turned a pleasant purchase into something I regret. Usually like samsung products but not sure I would commit to spending hard earned money on their products in the future based on this experience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very nice i like Bought it around a month or two ago, most stunning display I have owned, gone from casual 1920x1080 @ 280hz to this beast has been so amazing for productivity, can open like 6-8 word documents on this monitor & dont need to split them up across multiple oh my lord has this been a beast for productivity not all games support the full native res but it's a crazy experience on games like escape from tarkov, overwatch, path of exile, doom etc. very good for like, split screen co-op too like halo & lego starwars i could never go back to a regular multi-screen set-up cus this is just too perfect

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buyers Beware. Samsung has released a really poor product. to be honest. Theres Common Issues like Visible FALD Lines. BAD HDR. And HDR 2000 is impossible Quality Control At samsung for these are really really bad im on my 2nd unit and has same issues HDR will be fixed with FW update but FALD lines and other things are just hardware issues and poor quality control.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Odyssey Neo G9 - Amazing 5 ⭐️ [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Odyssey Neo G9 almost 2 years ago now and I would never go back to a normal flat screen. There is a learning "curve" to this screen, but once your eyes adjust it really does open up your entire gaming experience. I loved the Neo G9 so much, that I have now purchased the new Odyssey G9 Oled and again samsung has gone above and beyond with this screen, pure colors, amazing response time and massively updated UI, which is a breeze to use. Brilliant work Samsung, keep these coming and I will always be your customer. Matt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Monitor Upgraded from the G9, where the lack of dimming zones totally destroyed blacks. The NEO fixes all these problems and then some. True blacks, very little blooming and no noticeable light bleed. I note others have mentioned the HDR is dull, and yes on Windows 10 there is definitely some issues, which I'm sure will be fixed with Firmware and perhaps drivers. However, I've recently moved to Windows 11 Preview and HDR is just out of this world. Black areas are dark, the zones make all the difference, and colours pop, 2000 nits is Super bright, in fact almost blinding. Auto HDR turns SDR content to perfection and native HDR is just awesome. With further drivers and firmware, it's just going to get better. Highly recommend this monitor!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy! As mentioned by others out of the box the HDR is completely broken causing a dull and washed out image. My unit seems to also have problems with local dimming it only works properly when using the monitors menu, other wise it is causing bad blooming when set to auto and I need to toggle it from off to on to fix. Auto doesn't seem to work in HDR games ether. The asking price on this monitor is too large for this sub par quality considering there are now 120hz OLED tv's with HDR that works.
