Great, but..
This camera is almost perfect for me. Great features, has couple of customisable buttons and dials that help doing things on the fly waaaayyy faster than other camera. Especially the dials! with 4 dials in the camera, it helps me control all the 3 main variables, aperture, iso, shutter speed, and have one extra dials for the exposure! Now I can safely change from manual to AV or TV without a glitch of muscle memory change!
But the ergonomic on the grip was bad. I use the a7iv+85GM for about 1 hour and a half, and my fingers already hurt. It didn't happen with my prev camera (Canon R6).
And the noise is worse than the R6 at the same ISO although the dynamic range is superior.

Simply the best
I'm thrilled with this camera. I've progressed from an A7ii, A7III and now a proud owner of an A7IV. The A7IV has everything you need and more. It takes a very sharp image and the video quality is superb. Easy to use as the menu navigation has changed to make it, in my view, more user-friendly. Sony has tweaked the camera in small ways to provide for a more positive user experience. Love the fact that you can now lock the exposure compensation dial, record button made simple and easy dial to switch between photo, video and S&Q.

Sony A7IV
Essentially I describe myself as a generalist photographer and for me I find the Sony A7IV to be a very versatile camera that I love using. It performs well with sports action, the eye AF works well on humans, animals and birds, and I get great results with my landscape shots. I want the best performance so I choose to use G Master and G lenses. I like that the camera can be programmed to my liking, and I find the menu system generally quite straight forward to use. I love the fact that it is not a great big heavy body.

Great !!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quick auto-focus, and as it is a hybrid camera, it give you that flexibility to switch between video and photo. Haven’t tried much of the video stuff but for photography it is an amazing camera.

Best Hybrid Cam
Recently bought the Sony A7 IV. Thoroughly impressed with the output quality of this hybrid camera. I purchased because of the large sensor and wanted a camera that could perform well in both photography and videography. Well I'm pleased to say it does both and there's so much more that I'm still learning about this camera. Custom colour profiles in camera. Also the S-Log options are just superb. I would say rivals the Canon R6 Mk ii in low light performance and as a hybrid camera. Highly recommend

Just Brilliant
Just coming into mirrorless I'm really glad I made the A7IV my choice, it was a little bit tricky to start with but after a week of use I have found my self very familar with most of the options around the camera and just blown away with how good the autofocus and image quality is especially in low light. Having so many custom buttons is just amazing and really makes it feel like that camera is truely yours.

Great Camera
Love the Sony A7IV. 33MP is just the right size for us. We work as fulltime photographers across a broad range of subjects, everything from studio portraiture, editorial to sports events and it never lets us down. It's hardy too, especially with the battery grip attached. We really put it to the test actively shooting every day, often long hours at a time. I highly recommend it.
