1-Handed Control + Remote
Integrated camera buttons on the grip give you easy one-handed control of

You can even detach the camera from the grip and use the grip as a wireless
remote to control your camera from up to 98ft (30m) away.
Easily Expandable
The Media Mod gives you the option of expanding your HERO13 Black
Creator Edition with additional gear to help you capture your story. It features
a standard 3.5mm mic port for adding your own external mic and HDMI-out
for playback on external monitors, plus two cold-shoe mounts for lights, LCD
screens or other accessories.
Powerful LED Lighting
The HERO13 Black Creator Edition’s Light Mod lets you brighten the action
and illuminate your next adventure with wide, even light. It features four
levels of brightness (up to 200 lumens) plus Overdrive and strobe modes,
and also works as a handy standalone light that can be used with GoPro
mounts.
Built-In Tripod
In addition to making it easy to hold and aim your camera, the HERO13 Black
Creator Edition’s Volta grip has built-in tripod legs that easily flip out any time
you need to set it down to capture stationary and hands-free shots. Swivel
mounting fingers even let you rotate and tilt the camera to find just the right
capture angle.
Mounting Flexibility
The included Magnetic Latch Mount makes it faster and easier to attach
and detach your GoPro from the Volta grip. Magnets guide your camera
into position so all you have to do is snap it in place. This is especially
convenient when you want to switch your camera to another mount. The
grip’s retractable mounting fingers make it easy to attach your Creator
Edition to GoPro backpack straps to capture a first-person view of your
journeys. It can also be used with other GoPro mounts and includes
1/4-20 mounting threads for use with tripods and other standard camera
accessories.
HLG-HDR Video
HERO13 Black takes its best-in-class image quality to the next level with the
option to record in Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG), a standard HDR format that
the pros use to capture 5.3K and 4K video in the 10-bit and Rec. 2100 color
space. This advanced feature requires a compatible display and media
player for playback. Users can still capture video using HDR without HLG for
viewing on standard displays and media players.
Widescreen, Vertical + Full Screen Capture
The HERO13 Black Creator Edition’s powerful 1/1.9” image sensor lets you
do more. Choose widescreen capture (16:9 aspect ratio) for full-screen
playback on a TV or vertical videos (9:16 aspect ratio) for social media
posting. For maximum versatility, the full-frame option (8:7 aspect ratio)
captures a 156° field of view that lets you crop in to create widescreen
and vertical shots later.
10-Bit Color + Log Encoding
The HERO13 Black Creator Edition lets you choose between capturing
standard video at 10-bit or Log encoding at 10-bit with GP-Log. Capable of
displaying over 1 billion colors, 10-bit color delivers enhanced color depth,
smoother gradations and more realism in your videos. Advanced users can
use GP-Log to get more detail in their footage while making necessary image
corrections in post-production (a lookup table/LUT is provided).
Timecode Sync
Advanced users with more than one GoPro can sync them with the exact
same timecode to make multi-camera editing a lot easier. It works with Final
Cut Pro®, Adobe® Premiere® and other editing software to further streamline
post-production.
27MP Photos + 24.7MP Frame Grabs
The HERO13 Black Creator Edition takes 27MP Single, Interval, Burst and Night
photos that let you capture standard, fast-action and low-light shots with the
press of the shutter button. You can also grab stunning photos up to 24.7MP of
your favorite shots from your videos using the GoPro Quik app.
Bluetooth® Audio Connectivity
Bluetooth® audio lets you wirelessly connect to compatible devices. Use
a wireless microphone for enhanced audio when narrating a scene or
conducting interviews. By connecting to your wireless earbuds, your GoPro
will be able to hear your voice commands in noisy settings or when it’s
mounted out of earshot. You’ll also be able to hear camera alerts through your
earbuds to confirm that it got the command and is doing what you want.
Enhanced Audio Capture
The HERO13 Black Creator Edition’s Media Mod features a standard
3.5mm mic port that lets you plug in a wired mic. It also has a built-in
directional mic for improved voice recording. Set the mic to prioritize audio
coming from in front of the camera to capture interviews and performances,
behind the camera to add your commentary to everything happening in
front of you, or set it to treat front and rear audio equally. It also includes a
removable foam mic cover that suppresses wind gusts up to 20 mph (32 kph).
Audio Tuning
Audio Tuning lets you adjust sound recording to better fit what you’re
capturing. Choose balanced true-to-life sound that’s great for most shots or
the Voice setting that enhances vocal clarity while also preserving ambient
background sounds.
Quicker QuikCapture
QuikCapture is the fastest and easiest way to power up and start recording.
All it takes is a press of the shutter button. Now you can also set your camera
to idle without completely powering down. This lets you start recording again
even faster. It’s the perfect way to stay flexible and ready to record during

GPS + Performance Stickers
GPS automatically captures telemetry data that can be overlaid as animated
