Very disapointed
What a load if crap. This was the replacement for my previous accidentally damaged induction cooktop. Gets nowhere near as hot, forever to boil water and does not keep water on the boil when needed. Does not pick up pans when placed on cook top as discribed inmanual (same pans used on my previous aeg induction cook top). This was recommended by insurance company as a replacement for r my no longer produced cooktop. You cannot tell where the zones are and the cooktop does not show where it is without moving it around. Most disappointing

Very flexible
We bought this a few months back to replace our gas cooktop and are very happy with it. It is very flexible with the possible cooking configurations.
It can be a little tricky switching to the centre 4 elements as a single element if one or more of the elements are already hot. I was initially a bit disappointed when cooking rice in a small pot - I suggest centering the pot over centre of the single element or using a bigger pot that covers 2 of the corner units. I was able to stir fry effectively using a black iron ScanPan wok.

Compact, flexible and effective
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was on gas prior to this and wish I had bought an induction top ages ago. BUT this model would not have been there.
It is an excellent system - compact to fit into tighter spaces and very flexible operations. It fitted our existing cooktop cutout (was a Bosch). For the same 'hole' the total footprint is significantly smaller but more functional than my old 4 burner gas system.
Controls are simple and intuitive.
I like it lot.

so sensitive, so simple, so superb
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have been cooking with the cooktop every night for a month now and it's superb. The matt finish is so easy to keep clean. Really light touches are all that is needed. It's adds pleasure to cooking.
