Feels great but works terrible...
The T50 RED worked for about 6 staples then jammed the staples and continues to get fouled about every 4-6 shots. Wasted time and lots of staples (1/2" heavy duty T50 out of box). It seems like the slide is larger than the inside width of the staple and jambs as it runs down the strip. Also it could be the chrome plating on the side of the slide is thick and binds on the staple points. Looking at the other reviews, it amazes me that Arrow would let this product out the door without having fired 10,000 or more staples in quality control on every 5th tool off the line. Bad addition to the tool line and an image buster for the company.

Stapler crimps staples and jams
I bought one of these staplers and it was horrible to work with. It kept crimping the staples (T60 3/8"). I'm stapling into artist stretcher bars to stretch my canvases. Should be an easy job. But I have to pull out at least twice as many staples as I can leave in place. The stapler also jammed a number of times. I thought it was a stapler defect so I returned it and got a replacement. Have the same problem with the second one. I waste more staples than I can leave in place. I used my old (silver) one for years and years with no problem until it just wore out. The one positive thing is it is very comfortable to use. I just wish it worked.

Junk.. lasted less then year with limited use..
paid more for what should have been a nicer quality gun.. worked ok for first few months, then slowly got worse with jamming staples.. Then today it finally got so bad it would do one good staple then jam up and cut the staples in half.. noticed lower chrome part that is spot welded to the staple tension bar was broken at all the spot welds.
I got so angry i threw it on the ground and it broke into 5 pieces. the steel chrome plated ones that cost less would never have busted that easily ..
with they would stand behind this obvious lemon of a model..
majority of reviews are the same.

Couldn't fire a single staple
I received this staple gun today as a Christmas gift from my mother. It failed to fire staples after several reloads and careful attempts. I then checked the internet and saw how many awful reviews the product has. Unfortunately, my mother does not use the internet, so she didn't know to avoid this terrible product. I can't believe that there are so many people who have the same problem as myself: the product NEVER works properly after unpackaging it. I'm hoping that she has the receipt so that I can return it, and I can assure you that I'll never buy another product from the company that continues to produce such garbage just to turn a profit.

Unable to function
This product seemed like it would be a proper tool with it's label stating it is ideal for Woodworking. I also like how the label stated that it had a feature for additional force in driving the staple into the wood. However, the label seems like the only impressive point with this product. From the first time I had loaded staples in, I used T50 1/4" Staples - which it clearly states on the label to be compatible with, I was unable to fire a single one. I will not attempt to use the product further and shall return it later today. Hopefully another brand will be able to function properly and will prove to be more reliable, firing all the Staples I load into it. (This is the second Arrow Stapler I have had issues with).

so-so
Bought the T50 R.E.D. from Home Depot as it was the 'best' (i.e., most expensive) one there. It worked pretty well with 3/8" staples on the unfinished side of a pressboard plank which is harder than pure wood, but it didn't go through indoor-outdoor carpeting from the finished side and into the wood.
Also it was not shooting 5/8" brad nails at first - I tried over and over and they wouldn't shoot. Tried filling the entire chamber with nails even though I only needed to use a few, and then it worked better. May return it for an older more reliable staple gun.

I like this Staple Gun Nailer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this to attach a back to an old cabinet that I had. The tool has a depth adjustment that can be used to make the nail go deeper if need be - which in my case I did need it - for the 3/4" 18GA brad nails. it worked like
a charm and the cabinet back is now secure as new! To add to that this
tool also uses T50 staples ranging in size from 1/4" up to 9/16". I will be getting much use out of this stapler. The handle takes very little effort to squeeze...I like this Stapler/Nailer and recommend it to anyone doing upholstery, light wood work or any type of paper or insulation that needs attached to wood.

Great and simple overall product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The stapler has great ergonomics and was easy to use one handed while reupholstering an oversized couch by myself. It had a couple issues with stopping early in the squeeze but after choking down a bit it wasn’t an issue and I was able to zip right through it. Additionally I used the 1/2” #508 staples and it had near perfect penetration through the extra thick material into both the ply and MDF. I also used the #504 staples to stitch a desk trim piece together and it worked perfectly! Aside from the stops in lever travel I would give this ol bad Larry a 9.5 out of 10 rating.
